Viglienzone has been award the contract with NFSA

On February 2022, a signature ceremony was held in Cairo between NFSA and Viglienzone Group to support the NFSA Food programme. There were representatives from both sides who attended the ceremony: NFSA Chairman, Dr. Mansour Hussein and Viglienzone Adriatica Regional Vice President, Dr. Nabil Hussein.

The role of Viglienzone will be to assess and verify the compliance of food and beverage that will be exported to Egypt in accordance with all regulations and specifications approved by NFSA.

The Product Conformity Assessment program will be structured as follows:

• Initial on-site visual inspection and sampling as per NFSA requirements;
• Testing of samples within ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab;
• Conformity assessment including revision of test reports and quality documents;
• Secondary on-site inspection of loading supervision and container sealing;
• Issue of CoI.

NFSA List of Regulated Food:

• Milk, cheese and dairy products;
• Preserved, dried, packaged fruits;
• Edible oils, Vegetable Oils and Animal Fats;
• Sugar confectionery;
• Chocolate and food preparations;
• Cocoa products and derivates;
• Natural, mineral and soda water, drinks;
• Wheat, corn, rice, soybeans, cereals, grains, oilseeds and derivates;
• Meals for animal feed;
• Food contact tools;
• Frozen chicken, frozen meat, frozen food, fish, eggs;
• Pasta, preserves, pasts, biscuits, cookies, meal;
• Fruit and vegetables.
